- In [1] staht dat Platduits" wat anners is denn Nedersaksisch. Un Low Saxon is wat anners denn Plattdüütsch.

- For Gerard I will do this in English. I have looked it up in the wikipedia [[2]]: Plattdüütsch is a name for the regional language varieties:
- Low Saxon language,
- East Low German language.
- And from [[3]]: In Germany it is considered, together with East Low German as part of a language called Plattdüütsch.
- And that is exactly what it is. In Germany we call the language Plattdeutsch and this name is valid in High German and in Plattdüütsch from East Frisia to East Prussia and from Sleswig to th Rhineland. We do not use the term "neddersassisch" in Germany, because here this is an adjective and refers to things out of the Bundesland Niedersachsen.
- What the Dutch people call Nedersaksisch is one local variant of Plattdüütsch that is spoken in the eastern Netherlands. My Langenscheid Dictionary Dutch/German lists ""Platduits"" in both directions. So I am tempted to replace the Dutch translation of Plattdüütsch with "Platduits". - No wat: de italieensche Wikipedia hett en Artikel Lingua_basso-tedesca. Dat is wat annert denn basso-tedesco. Dat eerste is Plattdüütsch, dat anner mier denn dat.
